What you Need to Know about EMS Training

BODYTEC EMS training, in short, is a 20 minute whole body workout.  Using electro muscle stimulation, it activates and contracts your muscles to give you an intense, deep muscle workout. It is roughly the equivalent of 3 hours of traditional training at the gym.

How does EMS Training Work?

EMS training activates 8 main muscles groups, at the same time. In 20 minutes you do a high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout performed with a Personal Trainer Joondalup.

Every movement in your body is produced by an electrical impulse that your brain sends to the muscle fires. The electrical signals from your brain cause muscle contractions and trigger your body’s movement.

At BODYTEC, our EMS training machines use this natural principle, and are able to intensify the process to reach deeper muscle layers which are hard to activate through conventional training.

This means, in less time, and just once a week, you are getting a deeper muscle workout at BODYTEC than you could achieve if you spent hours in the gym.

EMS training is not a quick fix solution. Combined with a good healthy diet and low cardio exercises like walking, yoga or swimming, you will see long term results. These include improved toning, a reduction in cellulite, weight loss, improved core strength and more.

Who is EMS Training for?

BODYTEC training is safe, fun and really effective at working out your muscles. It is great for time poor people like corporate workers, who want to work out but just struggle to find the time between the commute and the 9-5 hustle.

EMS training is also great for mums for many reasons. There is the time-saving aspect, but also because EMS training is excellent for improving core strength and can even help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles!

Another element that makes EMS so great, is that it is low impact on joints (no jumping or running). Therefore it’s great for people who have joint issues or injuries. At BODYTEC, we can modify the workout to suit different people’s needs and fitness levels.

If you are currently already quite fit and active, EMS training can help you get a deeper muscle workout that would be really difficult to do at the gym. BODYTEC really is for everyone.
